As a teacher dedicated to academic rigor but also to creating a positive, respectful, and productive learning climate, I am proud of the many positive testimonials I receive from my students, from parents, teaching peers, and supervisors. Of course I am far from being a perfect teacher: I think that perfection is an ideal that can only be approximated over many, many years of practice.
